Mr. Bentley is by far one of the best speakers I have had the pleasure of listening to. First of all, his content is nothing short of God inspired thru the Holy Spirit. Mr. Bentley is a man who speaks the truth but speaks it with love and convictions. Secondly, the way he presents his material will have you thirsting for more info and knowledge. Mr. Bentley from EVERYTHING i can tell is a man who loves people, cares about their spiritual well being, and is concerned with the mental and psychological well being of each person. If you have not had the opportunity to engage in one of his seminars (speaking engagements) then you have truly missed out on a blessing.

Some 60 plus years ago, a group of men and women started Sunday Worship Services on Lake Guntersville – Church on the Lake. Throughout the summers since, Christian services have been held, to glorify God and reach out to those around the lake and away from their home churches. Each Sunday, powerful speakers open God’s Word, sharing the Gospel, comforting and encouraging so many, and reaching out to any who are searching for the unconditional love and saving Grace of our Savior.
John Bentley has been one of our speakers at Church on the Lake for a number of years, sharing God’s Love in such a personal and transparent way. John’s own encounter with God, through the most difficult of times after the loss of his daughter, has touched so many going through similar struggles. John’s message is all about being assured that our God never leaves us but equips us in our weakness with His Strength. That message translated into John’s ministry to reach as many families as possible, especially young mothers dealing with prescription drug dependence. John Bentley was given the gift of speaking his Faith, sharing their personal side of the Gospel, and instilling hope for any who will hear. You will be blessed to be one who hears.
